 when is it coming? seriously though, i loved V, it was the only one i ever played since the others are nearly impossible to find for me or were never released here Will there even BE a VI or is that just a futile hope of mine?

I think we can kiss Suiko VI goodbye Rusty  i just dont see it happening, but who knows. I love Suikoden, i think Tierkreis may be it for awhile. |

Suikoden is just one of those game series i dont think i could get enough of, you guys played the last on PS2, Suiko V right?

If we do ever hear about a Suiko VI announcement, I think it would probably be from TGS and not e3. Regardless, I'm a HUGE Suikoden fan and would love to see another one come out.  |

One of my favorite series. I want so bad for them to announce VI, but I'm just skeptical of it happening anytime soon.
I, II, and V were awesome games. I also enjoyed Tierkreis a lot too.

I, II, and V were awesome games. I also enjoyed Tierkreis a lot too. Agree with all of this. I, II and V are my favorite 3 of the series as well. I actually enjoyed Tierkreis, but I know a lot of die hard Suiko fans were disappointed with it. I think I for more use out of my DS with that game than any other. |

Even if it continued further on the DS or PSP, man id be all over new Suikoden games. I'd be okay with that but would prefer a new console version, series deserves an FF style visual treatment, tho it honestly doesn't need it...would love to see it, but as I said doesn't need it. |

Which reminds me... i still have Tierkreis sealed up in the box sitting in my closet here... i might give that one a shot someday, probably not as good as V but still better than no Suiko at all i reckon  |

Tierkreis is actually pretty good to be quite hoenst with you. Depends on who you're asking with the voice acting, but I don't find it all too bad. (Infact, some of it is quite humorous.)
I'm personally the oddball out of the great big Suikoden family, though. I'm probably the only one who really thoroughly enjoyed IV, while I felt bored down the line with V, since it felt so "been there, done that."

I'm still waiting for II to arrive on PSN. Sony must really hate us... they let Japan have a I&II collection on PSP many years ago. Yea that would be one incredible collection to own. I own them still on PS1 but i would love to have a PSP collection of Suiko games. |

Exactly Seth, as the creator (and therefore Master) of this thread i urge Konami to do something about Suikoden VI, we REALLY want it!!  I also want that PSP collection or even Suiko 2 on PSN, i'm not so lucky to have found it for PS1 |

I still hold out some hope that we will get Suiko I/II compilation on PSP. A fool's hope, maybe. Still, I want as many people as possible to experience the greatness of those games. But first, GIVE US SUIKO VI!!!  |

They are fairly independant stories but the gist sort of lives throughout with the 108 stars of destiny. If you wanted to start with the game you could grab Suikoden I off PSN if you have a PS3 that is. Suikoden II is the gem of the pack or probably the most praised. I really liked Suikoden III and V as well. Or if none of those really hit the mark for ya, Suikoden on the DS is pretty awesome too in getting aquainted. |
