Suikoden VI

Never played Suikoden as well. I don't have a Ps3, but i can always play it on my PSP.

I also hope that they will eventually make a new Suikoden! But I admit, I would rather Konami just end the series than turn them into something else. I loved Final Fantasy for years, but I did not like the changes in some of the new ones - my biggest issue is that they seem to be catering to gamers that do not like classic RPGs and they took out classic turn based play. I understand some people don't like turn based, but imo if you don't like RPGs don't play them. There are plenty of other games out there that do not have complex stories and have more "action". I don't happen to like those games though, which is why I probably sound a little frustrated. I just want MY games (RPGs) to be left alone!

In any case - Suikoden has ALWAYS been one of my favorites!! I found it when I was about 12, and I still have all of the games today! I agree with other posters- I and II are best, and V is most like the two classic ones. Therefore- those are my favorite. I did not mind III though, and even IV was ok with me, though clearly the worst of the series. I didn't find anything wrong with Tierkries - I am not sure why some would reject it? If they had named it as part of the original Suikoden series I might not have liked that, but as an offshoot - it is very good for what it is! And much better than no Suikoden at all. I enjoyed it!

I really hope Konami makes another Suikoden!! I keep looking for news (which is why I bumped into this forum!!) but I am glad to see many others wanting more Suikoden games as much as I do!! I hope we hear good news soon!

Welcome, ladyflames! Glad you joined us. You're not alone - I also love old-school turn based RPGs. It's by far my favorite genre.

It will be a beautiful day if we do get a Suikoden Vi...but I doubt it.
