Saw Pan's Labyrinth last night.
I still haven't decided if I liked it or not. I enjoyed the premise, but there was some writing and/or directing that just... irked me.

The Company Men - It was OK. Nothing great. Fairly predictable and Ben Affleck's character is very dumb at times. this has to be the most depressing movie I've ever seen, felt like starting my car up in the garage and shutting the door after this. Quite anger inducing too

Quite anger inducing too If you have HBO. You need to watch Too Big to Fail. It's great.

Too big to fail, aye. I'll look out for it, we don't get an HBO channel over here but we get tinned of HBO shows over a few channels etc.
Lol, why should I check it out btw? Cuz it'll depress me or anger me? Haha

No; it just takes you through the collapse through the eyes of the Treasurer's eyes. It was really good and loaded with tons of great actors. I was shocked when each one was playing some CEO of a giant company. It shows how close everything was to ruin.
I had a stomach bug and took in a few movies:
Stripes - Simply classic. I recited most of the movie as I watched.
Devil - Not a bad little suspense movie. I wouldn't say rent it but if you are sick on your couch then it is OK to watch.

Cyrus - Pretty disappointing. Definitely more a drama than a comedy and a very boring and predictable one at that. I don't recommend it. Life as We Know it - Wife's pick. It was actually pretty funny. Less of a romantic comedy and more of a movie about having a 1 year old which I do so it hit home. It has ro-com throw in but it's not the main part of the story. If you wife is fishing for a ro-com then help her choose this one.

I just watched the Legend of the Guardians...the owl movie. Only saw bits and pieces and then the end. Didn't find anything too spectacular about it. The little kids who were watching it kept crying at parts they found too scary. I may have to go back and re-watch it though, just because the animation is spectacular.
I also saw the Green Lantern, whenever that came out. It was a big disappointment to me, I was expecting more Star Wars-like scenes.

Just finished watching one of my all time favorites again, Taxi Driver.
De Niro is just brilliant in it.

I went to Transformers 3: The Dark Side of the Moon on Friday. But the last movie I've actually watched was Gnomeo and Juliet on DVD. Quite a cute movie actually. I enjoyed it. Both of the two listed were fun to watch - one was just more kid friendly than the other.

I just watched Harry Potter & Deathly Hallows part 1.
Don't know why it took so long for my inner nerd to watch it. Can't wait for part 2.

Green Hornet - Much better than I expected. It was quite entertaining. It's worth a rent.
Transformers 3 - I enjoyed it but I liked 1 and 2. I would say that it is better than 2 and close to even with 1. 1 had better lines and funnier in parts. 3 is a better overall action movie for the story.

LOL! Awesome video there.
I thought the Island was a little underrated in that I didn't hate it like most critics did.

Saw Pan's Labyrinth last night. I still haven't decided if I liked it or not. I enjoyed the premise, but there was some writing and/or directing that just... irked me. While I thought this movie was excellent, the way they advertised it--to me--was misleading. It was advertised as the "adults fantasy type of film" when in actuality, that's not really what it was about.

Lol @ that comparison gif Manny
I went and saw Transformers 3 and Super 8 in the drive in on Tuesday.
Transformers was good, but was like super long and dragged out.
Super 8 was stupid. Hated it.

Rented "Frozen" yesterday. It stars Shawn Ashmore, a.k.a. Iceman from the X-Men movies. It's a low budget, indie production about a group of friends that get stuck on a chair lift at a ski resort. Started a bit slow, but the pacing was great overall, and it had quite a few cringe-worthy moments. Rated R, 93 mins.

Watched Paul last night, quite funny and def worth a watch but I think hot fuzz and shaun of the dead is funnier, though Seth rogen does the voice very comically well

Just Go With It: Standard Adam Sandler romcom fare. Much prefer Wedding Singer though.
