This will probably sound like a stupid question but....
I was wondering if there was a different way to set up a pair of Earforce headsets besides running them through the audio-video inputs on your TV. The problem is my A-V inputs are on the back of the television. My understanding is if I hook up the head set so all the audio runs through the headset then everytime I just want to watch tv (like normal) I will have to unplug them and put the TV A-V plugs directly into the TV. I also have a room mate so I don't always want to play with a head set.
This would be a HUGE annoyance for me. Just wondering if there was an adapter or another way to set them up... or maybe I'm wrong about how these work if so your correction would be greatly appreciated.

I don't have the Earforce. My setup is the Sennheiser PC360 + Astro Mixamp. I have my Mixamp connected to my tv via Optical Cable. It's always connected. When i want to hear the sound from the headset, i just have to turn the Mixamp on. If i want the sound from the tv, i turn the Mixamp off. Does the Earforce have an Optical input and an optical cable? Does your tv support it? You could try it.
I don't know if it works for your setup, i was just telling my experience, but i have different equipment.

Thanks for the info Torture, I may check that out. I just found out that you can plug them directly into the headphone jack so if that works then I'll be happy. The only thing I have now is the standard Xbox headset, I'm looking to upgrade and thought the Earforce x11 would be a cheap step up.

I love my X11's Journeyman, I highly recommend them if you're looking for an inexpensive gaming headset. The only thing is you will notice some static when you have them on and are navigating something quiet like the dashboard. It isn't a problem in game though, you don't even notice it with the in game sound playing.
It isn't wireless either, but the cord is ridiculously long so it isn't really a problem.

Hey Deltoid! Maybe you can answer this question... Can you plug your headset directly into the headphone jack with the A/V adapter? I heard someone say you could but since you own a pair thought you ight know for sure. If so then does it affect the audio quality?
The reason I would prefer this set up is the headphone jack is on the side of my TV and would be easy to get to. I don't want to have to swop back and forth from TV to head set with the A/V cables so I can hear my TV without the head set.
