Have the nook color and I love it. Thinking about acquiring the new e-ink touch screen version just for fun.
It got me back into reading in a big way. Just finished The Tomb by F Paul Wilson and probably going to start reading book 4 in the song of fire and ice series.

I have a Kindle, I haven't liked what I've seen from the Nook as it's an LCD screen and therefore a bit straining on my eyes. I will have to look at the e-ink version.
Kindle is great though, very useful.

Love my Kindle. I don't get to use it as often as I'd like, but it provides a great reading experience, and it almost has me convinced that I don't need to buy physical books anymore.

I just use the free Kindle app from Amazon for my PC. A Kindle would be nice but I'm already on looking at my computer screen for 90% of my day anyways. Not to mention I can read books a bit faster too since my 23" monitor holds about 5 pages at a time.

Kindle is great though, very useful. The LCD screen on the color has such a high resolution that it hasn't bothered my eyes at all. I think that most people who say that are ones who haven't really had much time with the device. It's really perfect for nighttime reading because you don't need a book light. You just can't read the thing very well outside in the daylight...but it would be very rare for me to do something like that anyway. I want an e-ink version too though. And since I have already invested a lot of money in the nook store, I'm kind of married to Barnes and Noble now. I wasn't crazy about the first generation e-ink model but I stopped in and tested out the new touch screen e-ink version and its awesome! I'm definitely going to get one soon.

My wife has a Kindle that I use some of the time. It's pretty cool.
However, it seems that the gap between real books and e-books has closed. I have been buying more real books.
