Worth it for 20 clams?
I was always on the fence, i loved the demo but wasnt sure if it would be a must have racer. Any Split Second fans here?

I had the game for a while and I didn't love it. I do love racing games and the effects in Split Second were awesome, but together it just didn't click with me.
I will say though it was a solid arcade style racer with some heart pounding explosions. As a racing game it made you think on your feet, because some explosions might change the course of the track. I just hated that if you got in first, then most effects were useless.
