So heres a LTTP, Super Mario Galaxy

So ive had it since release and finally through its time, its just been long enough and i started it up... i must say a game like this is a technical marvel

I cant believe ive been sitting on this game since release and havent really gotten too it, definitly a surprise and i must finish it soon and snag Mario Galaxy 2. I planned on it anyway but finally i got too it.

This is the kind of game that makes the Wii so great, i know its not loaded with crazy graphics but the lush, vibrant colors of Nintendo franchises just keep me comin back all the time, love it.

SMG1 took about 20stars to really hook me. SMG2 was gold right from the get go. As much as I loved the first, the second trumped it.

SMG2, nintendo told there best designers to go nuts creating cool levels using the engne theyd created for the first game And then picked the cream of the crop of those. So much goodness in a single package...

You know ive always loved mario and i own all of them but i havent quite been "INTO" mario as i used to be.

I am having a freaking blast with SMG, i mean i dont want to put the game down...im dying to get SMG2, im going to pick it up when i beat SMG but i am having an absolute total blast with this game and it just reminds me how amazing Nintendo is in the video game world. Just an awesome game, what a fun fun game this is.

Ha, if you think the game is awesome after just starting it, wait until you get into the later levels and unlock comet challenges. The game only gets better.

SMG is just one of those games that tickles your pleasure center. It's very difficult to describe. The game is just fun and you can't realize how fun it is until you actually play it.

BTW I totally recommend you get all 120 stars.

And yea its just an incredible game, im so glad i finally started to play it. Just to add too it even more my wife been using the 2nd controller to collect starbits, she loves that but its like were working on it together and it adds another cool factor.

I cant wait to pick up SMG2.

I thought the second player functionality was a stroke of genius. It allows the difficulty of the game to be adjusted on the fly without the need to select "easy mode" in an options screen that makes you feel incompetent.

In this way, my wife and kids can play as the first player and I can assist to varying degrees as need be. I can collect star bits, I can hold enemies and obstacles still, I can stun enemies, I can click on Mario to make him jump at the right time when the player is having trouble with timing. If 2nd player clicks on Mario at the same time as the 1st player jumps, you can get an extra super-high jump. When they don't need the help, I can just put the controller down and they're playing at the default difficulty.

In SMG2, there are some different things that the 2nd player can do, such as actually attacking enemies by grabbing them and then shaking. Also, the second player can grab and hold items like 1-ups or coins. A great trick is to grab a coin and hold onto it until the 1st player gets hit. Then release the hold and Mario gets an instant heal. Grab another coin and repeat.

I prefer to not have any assistance (except for star-bit collection) when I play, but it's a great way for me to assist the gamers-in-training in my house.

yeah i loved SMG 1... one of the only games where i actually cared enough to do everything (get all 120 stars)... just so unique and fun some of these levels, one of my favorites was that water parcours one with that awesome tree in it

need to start up SMG2 soon too...

So then you didn't actually care enough to do EVERYTHING then.

The level designs are just awesome, one of the best mario games i ever played hands down.
