So me and my brother just chipped in and bought a Wii for my Mom's house when my 2 and 4 years old nephew go over there. They are there a lot. Anyway the 4 year old is the one who mainly plays. We got Mario Kart with it and I know about the Mario and Sonic games but can anyone recommend some games that they can enjoy that are not shovelware. I was thinking some of the Cars games but was wondering if they were any good? Any input would be helpful!! Thanks.

Kirby's Epic Yarn, maybe? I've heard it's not that difficult but very enjoyable.

Epic Mickey and dkc returns would be too hard. Kirby is a good suggestion.

Sorry >.< I have a hard grasp on what normal 4 year olds can and can't get. My brother was beating Halo when he was 4.

Sorry >.< I have a hard grasp on what normal 4 year olds can and can't get. My brother was beating Halo when he was 4. In all honesty, I think completing Halo would be a lot easier for a 4 year-old than DKC and Epic Mickey. DKC for the technical skill required (Halo has a larger margin for error at any given moment) and Epic Mickey for the figuring out what to do next.

I seem to unable to actually complete a level in dkc, I think I have used super guide more than playing the actual level!
But I seen an ad for kirby and it had young children playing it.

In Kirby, you don't actually die, and it doesn't actually matter much how many beads you collect. It just unlocks secret levels if you get a certain amount on like the boss stages.

- de Blob
- Kung Fu Panda
- Nickelodeon Fit
- Go Diego Go!: Great Dinosaur Rescue
- Madagascar Karts
- Go Diego Go: Safari Rescue
- Mario Sports Mix
- Just Dance Kids
- Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing
- Super Monkey Ball Step & Roll (Balance Board)
I have kids (obviously I guess) and I can say from experience that you can't predict exactly which games they'll like. I used to have a GameFly account which made it easy to let them test the games out.

Lego Star Wars, it serves my 5 year old nephew well. Though occasionally you will need to help. Like the Hoth level for example.
