Will we see NHL2K12?

From what I had last heard, 2K said that they were skipping NHL2K11 on the main consoles to take a year off and really come back strong with NHL2K. But im not so sure...has anyone heard or seen anything?

It was announced just last week that they won't be releasing 2k12 this year.

Man that sucks, Delt you normally deliver good news...this was bad news!! lol, yea the series has sucked big time...2K8 was good but 2K7 was their glory at least for me it was.

Thats ashame, i dont get why they just didnt try to really rebuild the game.

If they didn't feel they could put in enough time and effort to make the series relevant again though, it was for the best.

NHL2K needed buried. EA put that game to shame. EA Vancouver may be the only team under EA Sports that does actual work on their game year after year.
