... and I saw no differences afterwards or information about what had been done.
Now, you and I know this was in order to enable the use of the new disc format that will allow more space for developers on DVD's, but I can imagine the general masses being less than enthused if it took as long for them as it did for me and then not seeing anything changed or any kind of notification of what just happened.

I sat there playing online poker on my iPod waiting for the update to finish for about half an hour. Not sure if my internet connection was just being lazy last night or if the update just took that long.

Took me less than five minutes to update last night. Other than support for the new disc format, Paypal is the only new addition to the dashboard as far as I know.
