***Operation: Backlog Progression***

So lets start it off and get some games done!

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow so far i will throw in here, completed. That was a biggie I wanted to get wrapped up.

Working on Enslaved now, hopefully this one can be axed off my list in a day or so.

Just went back to Halo: Reach - I'm on chapter 6 now. Left it off on chapter 5 a few months ago.

Amazingly I have NO backlog! I played and beat every game that I wanted and I don't see myself playing any games until the fall.


Of course I will still play Black Ops and NBA 2K11 but other than that...gaming season is finished for me.

I recently finished Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. Should have finished that one sooner.

I also just finished up Infamous. Can't wait for the sequel.

I have a backlog that's really annoying me, mainly because there are some games that I want finish but I just can't bring myself to play them. Examples being Dead Space 2, Forza 3, Mortal Kombat, Rock Band 3, Pokemon Black, Professor Layton and the Curious Village, Swords and Sworcery, the list goes on, and these are good, nay great games. The issue is that when I load up my 360 I either want to play full house poker or a WRPG, and when I'm on the move I just want to listen to podcasts.

My current gaming mission is a full runthrough of ME2 on hardcore, paragon, male, including all DLC. I'll do insane, renegade, female closer to ME3's release.

I've also just picked up Crysis 2. Have yet to open it though.

Ooo nice one there Hugh, those will be some sweet accomplishments on ME2 let me know how the insane run is...ive contemplatd that as well. You playing it on 360 or PS3? I wanted to buy it again for PS3 since they are using the ME3 engine, but i havent done that yet.

And also let us know about Crysis 2, i havent heard great things about it but i just wonder if thats classic internet type negativity

Finished off halo reach tonight. Woot! Managed to make it through one of my Christmas presents before my bday hits. Of course I've still got a fathers day 2010 game sitting there barely played. My new, more realistic goal is to finish games that were gifts from my wife and kids (so they don't stop buying them for presents).

I hear ME2 on PS3 is a mixed bag, I think Digital Foundary did an analysis, and generally there appeared to be forum disappointment with the performance.

As for the insane run, I'm having reservations since the loading time after you die is pretty damned frustrating on hardcore, so I might just explode on insane.

My console gaming backlog consists of over a 100+ games. I will never finish because I'm stupid like that and buy new stuff anyway.

My handheld backlog is pretty good though, only a couple games there!
