I just came across a story on Joystiq about someone selling their MASSIVE Final Fantasy collection on Ebay. It can be had for a cool $15,000 Being CN is our resident collector I thought you'd be interested in taking a peak, I know I was! The list of items is massive, a lot of pics too. You guys need to check this out, very neat cgi.ebay.com/200605325745

Damn, I could seriously never afford that. I question whether anyone can afford it, I just don't see anyone dropping $15,000 on it. Don't get me wrong I think it is an amazing collection and something he should be super proud of, but that's just it; it's HIS collection. A lot of the pride people get from having a collection like that is the time, effort and memories they have of putting it together. Hell that's half the fun. So I just don't see anyone buying it, I sm glad he's trying to sell it though as it gave us the opportunity to ogle it. Though it'd be much more work, I think he would have been better off selling it in small chunks or individually.

I agree, part of the whole collection making process is... well... collecting. xD If you buy someone else's collection, you lose the fun aspect of it.

That is pretty absurd $15,000 but there is a high premium on the limited edition systems. He sure has me beat and I thought I had a fairly extensive collection most of the final fantasy games along with Final Fantasy 3 limited edition DS system. Final Fantasy 7 Crisis Core PSP System, Lightning FF13 PS3 System. I actually use all my stuff so its not sealed.
