Well, i asked mister Setharion to change my nickname. The reason is i use Manny-Calavera or a variation everywhere. I registered with MrTorture here because it was the name i was known for on IGN. Yes, i'm a huge Grim Fandango fan, finished the game 10 times, and just talking about it makes me want to install it again.

Sure, go ahead. When I created my account I guess I assumed you can keep your login name separate from your board handle.

Oh, and LaXDragon, as a nick, dates all the way back to the UDIC (google it). It means lazy or relaxed, not laxitive (though I won't stop you). Also, my home town at the time was La Crosse, WI, LaX was an abbreviation for that, not the LA Airport.

I've been gaming since Pong, but most of my favorite games are more recent: Valkyria Chronicles I and II, GTA San Andreas and Vice City, Dark Cloud 2, Dragon Quest VIII, Red Dead Redemption, Psychonauts, Patapon, LittleBigPlanet, Midnight Club 3, etc.

I live in Maryland with my wife and two kids. We love the Ravens and hate the Steelers, although some of their fans are tolerable.

Someone recommended this board to me and I have to say I am quite impressed. The ultimate detail that was given to every pixel is just mezmerizing! And as I explored all of the deepest corners of this vast cornacopia of fun, I was just so overwhelmed by its sheer immensity, that I had to pop myself a beer!

Hi, Arunne here. I usually just go by my real name, Ryan. I have been MMOing since DAOC. My wife is a gamer too, she started playing DAOC with me and my friends. I think she didnt want to be a gaming widow.

Anyway she is sometimes more hardcore at gaming then I am when it comes to MMOs. She goes by Mags. Whatever MMO I try, Mags is sure to be there to try it.

We have a 5 1/2 year old daughter, that occupies our time a lot.

Right now I have been playing my Xbox trying to finish a bunch of games that i seem to get into then never finish. I am impatiently waiting for SWTOR to come out.

I'm Marrian (ok, well, my real name is Jen...many people are surprised to find out Marrian isn't my real name, for some reason).

I live just barely outside of Atlanta, GA, but I grew up in a small town in WA state, just outside of Portland, OR.

About me:

I have kiddos (who also love gaming and wrestling) -- I just got married last month (to a guy who also likes gaming and wrestling, haha) -- I am a MMORPG gamer, but I am a daily Wii Fit user and mess around on the Wii with my kiddos -- I love, love, love wrestling -- I am a movie buff (prefer war/drama & comedies) -- I appreciate good music, and will listen to almost anything -- I am a cake decorator -- I am currently enrolled in online school and getting a degree in Business Management, as I hope to open my own cake shop some day -- I am still looking for work (I was "fired" in January because I was sick; 2 hospital stays due to a blockage in my kidney which caused 4 months of kidney infections, yeeeuck, and then...I got whooping cough!).

My MMORPG experience started out with DAoC in 2003/2004. My then-bf played it, I tried it and got hooked. I started Alb/Perc and stayed there for a bit. When Gareth came out, I went there, Alb. Then Gaheris for quite a bit, also. I was even a Team Lead for the server for quite a bit. Played Warhammer, and it was ok at first, but I now kinda hate it (lol). I play RIFT now, and still go back to DAoC once in awhile. It will never be quite as awesome as it was, but its nostalgia that keeps me going back, I guess.

I was a volunteer on the Camelot Vault IGN site for awhile; eventually moved up to Assistant Site Manager. Moved over to Warhammer Online Vault IGN site as the Site Manager, and I just resigned from that over this past week. I am still a member over on RIFT Vault IGN site, though.

Don't think I ever posted in here when I joined a little bit ago. My name is Ryan and I have been gaming since the NES/Atari days. I have been a NeoGaf member for a while and post there now and then. But my buddy NeoFoxTrot got me to join up here. If you ever have a problem with him I know where he lives.

Other than gaming I am an avid Atlanta Braves fan and Pittsburgh Steelers fan. And no I am not a bandwagon fan of the Steelers. I actually did live there.

Other than that I am married with no children. Although that will probably change in the next year or two. So yep...that's it.

Enjoy my baseball... grew up in southern california and used to go to angels games. went to school in northern california and worked a bit in alaska. next stop was chicago area for a year and a half now im in michigan. i cant root for the lions though... think im going to stick with the bears or packers since ive always liked those teams.
