I really like the fact that you have a sports section, including a sub-forum for MLB. Hopefully there are plenty of baseball fans here. The one thing I enjoy more than video games, it's baseball.

Owns PSWii60. Favorite game this gen is probably Bad Company 2. Loved Valkyria Chronicles, Halo Reach, and Alan Wake. My most hated game this gen is Killzone 2. Favorite game of all time is Starseige Tribes.

I'm Dave. I'm a 30-something dude who's been happily married for just over a decade. We have two beautiful kids who are the center of our lives.

I'm a big-time 80's nut. That extends into sports, music, movies, games, toys, etc. I'm very nostalgic. I run a wrestling website called The Wrestling Legends Forum (as you can see in my sig below). I actually met Setharion on another wrestling website we used to be members of. Seth is truly one of the coolest people I've ever met online.

I missed this thread when I first started actually posting here

I've been posting on message boards pretty regularly for nearly a decade now. Aside from a few posts on some old Final Fantasy VI board back in 1998 or so, I started posting on IGN in 2003, where I met a lot of people I still talk to to this day. IGN has pretty much fallen by the wayside for me however. I now frequent Negative World (where I'm an editor and BadCartridge a lot, as well as the Hardcore Gaming 101 forum. I haven't been posting here as often, admittedly There's just so many places to visit! I look forward to continuing to post here though. This place seems cool

I like a bunch of different kinds of games, in a wide variety of genres. I don't like everything though (I'm not into fighting games or sports games), but there's a good amount of genres I do enjoy (run and gun shooters, third-person shooters, survival horror, action, adventure, RPGs, puzzle games, platformers, arcade-style games in general, etc.). I've been playing games since before I could talk! My family had a bunch of game systems (and gaming computer) when I was growing up, so it's always been a part of my life. Even though I was only born in 1990, I grew up with systems like the NES, Super NES, and Colecovision, so by the time we got an N64 in 1998 I already had a lot of gaming experience, so I was able to really appreciate how far games had come up to that point.

I lost interest in gaming during the PS2/GCN/Xbox gen though, because I just couldn't find much to enjoy playing. I played the Tony Hawk games and Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, but there wasn't much else I played during this generation. I have gone back and discovered some games I missed out on though (notably Contra: Shattered Soldier, MGS2 and 3, Disgaea: Hour of Darkness, and Code Veronica + the Resident Evil remake), but generally I didn't play games during this time period. I didn't get back into gaming until 2007, when I got a Wii. That system got me back into video games, thanks to stuff like Metal Slug Anthology and Resident Evil 4, and I now own almost every major gaming platform from this past/current gen, aside from the PSP (and 3DS, though I'll get one eventually).

I mainly play my 360 as of late, along with one of my older systems every now and then. I don't feel like any system is hands-down bad though; I almost never touch my PS3, but there are games I'd like to play for it; I just haven't gotten around to most of them yet. Someday I'll do so I have a ton of favorite games, but my absolute favorite would have to be Resident Evil 4.


As for myself, I'm a pretty nice person with a good sense of humor. Aside from video games, my hobbies include acting, writing, listening to music, watching TV/movies, and going on the internet. I like a lot of different things which people might sometimes feel clash with each other (I like badass things like action movies and underground metal, but also some really cutesy things like the color pink and magical girl anime and stuff). I like extreme opposites such as that. I also am very creative. I don't always talk about it, but I often brainstorm ideas for various things in my head, whether they be ideas for a possible video game, or for a play script or anything else along those lines. Someday I'd like to get some of those things off the ground. That would be pretty nice

I also post on BC and IGN every once in a while, I'm journeyman2x everywhere I go (also Xbox live). I'm a CNA at a nursing home/ rehab, I work nights which has it's adavantages. I love music, playing drums, games, movies, and reading.

I used to post in the 360 board back in IGN, but stopped visiting because it seemed to have died. I own all three consoles, but mostly play on the 360. I'm 23 and I'm still attending City College here in sunny San Diego. Anyways, I hope I can make a few more gaming buddies and hopefully build a strong community.

I am here through an invite from Seth. I was a regular poster on IGN but that board is dying. I had posted there since 2001.

I am fairly normal dude living in Charlotte, NC. I enjoy spending time with the faimly (1 year old girl and wife), sports, video games, and playing golf. I enjoy movies and TV as well but don't make it to the movies as much since the new addition to the family. I lood forward to posting with you guys.

Huh, just saw all this. I'm Chelsea. I don't look like it, but I'm a huge computer geek and I spend some time on my PS3 too. I own a Wii (but never play it) and a DS so I might pick up some games there too. I'm in college majoring in computer science so that keeps me busy a lot of the time. I don't have any kids or anything but I do have two kittens

I'm a good friend of BobbyB's so I told him I'd check this place out.

Well I'm Jess and I'm new I'm from England, am 25, work in tech support (lucky freakin' me!!!) and am a bit of a nerd. I've got a PC (which is the primary gaming machine) along with a 360, PS3, Wii, DS and PSP. I'm wanting to add a Commodore 64 to that, I miss it

I'm also a metalhead, a vegetarian and I have a picture of Hello Kitty riding a unicorn on my desktop.
