From Call of Duty to Little Red Riding Hood's Zombie BBQ, Zombies are used too much. At least thats how i feel. Even the most Stupidest games like The OneChanbara series have Zombies. How do you feel about Zombies; Too little or over used? Your choice. Discuss!

I feel they are starting to be over used now because of their fanbase. Which is a sad sight because it makes the whole zombie thing less interesting.

I honestly hate zombies now. I can't remember when I started to hate them, but I think it was around the time of Left 4 Dead 2 or Zombieland.

I just never been a zombie fan from the getgo, so their usage doesnt bother me really...but from what ive seen yea id say they are quite overused.

They are being over used. It's sad too because once it came out in World at War, it was popular...now EVERYONE wants to use zombies in their games. Left 4 Dead was a great concept and used zombies well because of co-op, but all of these other indie game developers and trying too hard to incorporate zombies to make a few bucks. What's next? The re-release of Zombies Ate My Neighbors?  |

I'm still a zombie fan but I don't like that they're popping up everywhere. It's one thing to put them in every game but what actually bothers me more than that is that they're being used in mainstream media and as a large category of their own in terms of products and such. It used to be when I saw a shirt with a zombie design or even a zombie plushie it was exciting...now it's easy to find zombie themed stuff all over the place, it really killed the fun.
It's just another originally geek/gamer trend to add to my "I liked ____ before it was cool." list =/

Right...when done correctly, use zombies by all means, but rehash the same game mechanics like with some of the indie titles...nah. |
