I'll definitely check them out Michael, I'm a big fan of gaming podcasts so hopefully I can lend some of my thoughts.

Its not bad Mike, for me personally....i just have a hard time staying focused for over an hour. But im not much of a podcast kinda guy so maybe thats the norm with podcasts. But a 20 minute segment for me would be more ideal and just a little more easy to hang with. But thats just me

The Giant Bombcast for example typically runs 2 hrs 30 minutes long. Michael the no response isn't because it is bad, I just haven't had a chance to listen yet. I only listen to my podcasts while I'm working and just haven't gotten to yours. Tomorrow will be the day however! Looking forward to it

As MrDeltoid said 1 hour is fairly reasonable compared to some. It's not really like I plan them to be that long either haha, it just kinda ends up that way. I figured this would be 30, 45 min, we get sidetracked onto Smash Bros and boom 1 hour. My post was more to bump this than anything. Look forward to your comments deltoid.

I chose Arcadiacast 4 and 18 to listen to, I figured it would give me a good indication of the progress of the podcast in terms of quality, etc. I will make mention of the problems in Arcadiacast 4, but it's more to illustrate how far you guys have come.
Roto has come a long way from the fourth podcast, so much so that I didn't even realize it was the same guy in podcast 18.
In AC4 for the first 3/4's of the cast you essentially carried it, Roto and Dec did not seem comfortable at all and when they weren't silent the stuff they did add in wasn't very interesting. I will say they did seem to get more comfortable towards the end.
With AC18 Roto seems right in his comfort zone, ditto for Noodles. They both contributed well to the podcast and it didn't feel like just one guy talking with the very odd peppering of another voice like AC4 did. It really helps the podcast feel more cohesive.
With that being said, the overall production of the cast has also come a long way. AC4 was a nightmare to listen to, constant pauses between people talking, audio cutting out before a thought was finished, I even had part of the podcast repeat on me.
All that has changed though, and it seems like you've got those bugs ironed out. The audio quality has drastically improved and it actually feels like you guys are in one room together even though you aren't.
My one criticism with AC18 is that you guys seemed to derail your own podcast by going too far off course in the discussion. I felt like the podcast wasn't as well structured as it could have been and it ended up feeling more like one big blob. Because of this, by the end I found it difficult to remember what exactly you guys had talked about. Heck, I don't even recall if you guys actually hit up everyone for the "Watcha been playing" segment.
This is not to say I didn't enjoy the cast though, I think you guys have a lot of good things going for you. I felt right at home with the lineup of AC18 and I really enjoyed listening to your thoughts on the topics at hand. I feel like you guys are headed in the right direction and are ALMOST there, you just need to touch up a few things. I will certainly be listening to future episodes.
One last concern I do have is the cast itself. How often do you plan on switching it up? I don't mind having a new face peppered in here and there but for the most part I prefer the members to stay consistent.
Hope my comments help Michael.

By the way, feel free to post a thread when the new episodes come out. It'll remind me and anyone else interested in listening to go download it.
Any idea if you will ever get the podcast on Itunes? I'm not sure how difficult a thing that is to do, but it would make it easier for people like me to get the new episodes.

Well to give some more info about a few things. Our staff members currently consists of Dec, Roto, Noodles, Bubbles and myself, it's really just whichever of the guys can make it. Dec is only on occasionally, but generally it's myself, bubbles and noodles or Roto, myself and noodles. Sometimes Roto and Bubbles both make it.
Yeah, 18 we did derail, I really think 16 has easily been our best episode. It was really annoying in the beginning, our recorder was being all weird (hence the problem in episode 4). Finally an update for it and skype came out.
And I had it setup for iTunes, but for some reason the feed was rejected, something wasn't right. I have since found something that can help me out with the feed for iTunes and should hopefully put it up this week. Going to do some backend changes for the site too.
Thanks for taking a listen you guys.
