E3 is so close but yet so far away. www.xblafans.com/rumor-alan-wake-night-springs-will-be-an-xbla-title-13758.htmlAn extremely trusted source has leaked to us that the upcoming Alan Wake: Night Springs will be an Xbox Live Arcade title and not a retail release. We have seen screen caps, but have been asked not to disclose them at this time. We have emailed Microsoft asking for a comment and will update as the situation develops.
We would like to point out that we announced the Gotham City Imposters XBLA game months ago, which was recently confirmed. We cannot confirm details about Alan Wake: Night Springs yet, but we expect an official announcement to come soon.

That's kind of a bummer. I was hoping for a full game. Alan Wake is one of my favorite games on the 360.

It's funny because when we first heard about it, we thought to ourselves, alright it's not a sequel, nor dlc, so it must be a prequel. I don't think anyone considered an XBLA title.

I thought about the possibility since AW was pirated more than it was bought.
I'd much rather of had a full title that was digital only though.

Sounds good but I really hope they make a sequel.

Sounds good but I really hope they make a sequel. I'm not only with you, but I am fully confident that they will do a sequel...or if not a direct sequel something similar. ...Please do it in under 5 years. EDIT: JM, love your respect for VH

Boy thats a bummer SFLU, its ashame how Alan Wake just didnt get the recognition it deserved overall i dont think. But man it was up against stiff competition i recall and i just wish they would of put that game out a month earlier or later or just something to give the game its own time in the spotlight.

a full blown game wouldve been nice but i guess an xbla game is better than nothing. i enjoyed alan wake since it kind of gave a new experience.

Indeed, the game was great and highly deserving of a sequel.

I really enjoyed Alan Wake. So much that i bought the DLC, and still I was wanting more. Maybe I should just play the game again!
It's really unfortunate that Alan Wake was launched the same day as Red Dead Redemption. It didn't receive it's fair share of attention and instead was shadowed. It being on one console probably didn't help much either.
I'll definitely will be downloading the game. Thanks for posting about this! I thought with the recent news about M$ not being happy with Alan Wake's sales, that we wouldn't see another game featuring him.

I fully blame Microsoft for Alan Wake not doing as well as it could have. Releasing it on the same day as Red Dead Redemption with no marketing whatsoever was an absolutely asinine decision. I hope whoever decided on that got fired for their ineptitude.

Gotta agree, the release date was what killed that game...i think it was dead in the water before it actually released since the date had alot happening. Wasnt there even more that week or the week before/after that shadowed it?

I'll be the 4th straight in here to protest the release of this game, day and date with RDR.
...so stupid.
