Hows the board, you guys feelin it? Am i a pretty good forum general?? I hope everyone is diggin it and just having fun, to me talking games and having fun is what its all about. Long as people have a good time and can post their opinions without being berated is what my goal is here and ive known all of you for so long, i could grab better people to help me get this place going.

We just need to get alot of our Level 1s to hit Level 2 now

Im glad you guys enjoy it, its a nice board i think. Its fast moving, its got plenty of options, got skin options which i want to make a few more skin options coming up...i think its solid.

anyway, so far i really like this place as there seems to be a focus on gaming and a general peaceful attitude... almost too good to be true, let's hope it stays that way

I like it, good place for discussion and just talking to people. Also its very calm, hope more people get to join in and peace remains. Overall, pretty good. I'll try and get Level 2 soon, about halfway there.

Yep, i love the newer faces that we have here, theyve been a blast to talk too

I really enjoy the change of pace from some of my other forums. It's a different kind of setting, so even though I'm talking about essentially the same thing (video games) it still feels fresh. But I think that's also having a different group of people as well.

Just would love to see the rest of our members join in the discussions, we have a ton of topics here, tons of posts to read...im just bummin a bit for the many users that havent given GO a chance.

Honestly, the boards need more users posting more topics to make it my main go-to boards. Nothing wrong with what's here, it's just that there aren't a ton of topics popping up that I want to post about or a lot of users that are going to read my posts.

With size comes the unfriendliness and likelihood of being ignored in the sea of responses though. The right size is somewhere in between IMO.

I agree nac, but how do I get people to do that? Like I'm with ya, but I don't know what more to do. See for me we all love games, weve all posted on ign together for years most of us, why the silence from big posters is where I'm confused.

I'm just asking because like you said we need more posters, but the answer is they are here but not posting how they normally would and I just wish I knew why is all.

Agreed, it's crazy the amount of members we have that have either 1 or no posts.

Well I think that's a momentum thing. The more good discussions there are, the more people will want to post. The more they post, the more good discussions there are. It's a self-fueling cycle, but getting to that critical mass and ignition point is an uphill battle.

I agree but heres the thing too, remember...if theres conversations thats interesting to you thats not out there...start it up. Know what im saying? I think thats sort of the issue i personally see is if alot of people sit by going "well nothing out there i want to talk about"...they just move onward and wait for it to happen, instead if more would just fire out conversations they prefer it would start to stimulate things.

Im just trying so hard here, its the same way BC started. I was mr loneranger out there i had like 2,000 posts on BC within the first 2 months and people goin "ha half of BCs posts are seths" and people werent on board, and alot of people were just hangin around..its just a bummer because this place can be as awesome as people make it and its like ive laid it all out there but its the posters than can make the wheel turn. I just dont want to be sitting there with 5,000 posts when everyone else barely has 200, theres just something wrong with that picture.

So my point is Nac, and for everyone else if theres topics that arent out there but you want to talk about...please guys by all means just start them up and dont wait for someone else to hopefully start up a subject youre interested in, i love talking with you guys or else i wouldnt of invited ya thats why i sent invites to a selected group and as i said 90% of us here know each other, thats why i thought getting the people that have posted around each other for years would be a top notch thing.

If people can just go out of their comfort zone just for a bit in this boards early goings, just a bit...to get it moving pretty nonstop then after awhile lurking wont hurt as much. But man its a killer having lurkers this early on because its fuel the board doesnt get.
