Need some console game recommendations

Ive been out of the loop on consoles the last while, MvC3 on release, Black Ops for Christmas...and god knows what was before that.

Feel like I should flick on my PS3 or 360 and start enjoying them again (not that I dont enjoy MvC3, I play it 30m or so a day) I just need something more substantial.

So, has anything been released recently that I should look at? Im a PC gamer mostly, and as such I have Portal 2 via Steam.

Hows the new Mortal Kombat? I was a huge fan of the old school ones, but hows the replay value? Too bad Skyrim wasnt out, that would solve everything. lol

The new MK has a high replay value....The story mode is very well done and is 6-8hours long including all the cut scenes....The is a challenge tower that consists of 300 challenges...The is a challenge tower for Test your might, Test your sight, Test your strike, and Test your luck....And then there is unlocking each characters ending via the traditional ladder whether it be single or tag....I haven't even touched the online stuff yet

Yea UAFM, i think LA Noire will be a cool way to get back to your consoles, the game looks pretty excellento!

I'm buying L.A Noire as well.
