What are your video game related confessions?

Mine:
I don't mind buying used games, but they HAVE to have the original case. If they don't, then I don't buy them. I'll look somewhere else or even pay the extra money to buy it new if the used one is just a disc or has a generic box.

SAME HERE!!! I hate buying used games without the original case! Will, almost always shell out the extra money for a new copy of the game...I remember when I went to buy Bioshock the clerk at gamestop mentioned that I could get it cheaper used...When I mentioned that the used copy didn't have the original case he just gave me a weird funny look....Ahh, the life of a gamer LOL!

Im even one step pickier! I have a hard time at gamestop especially when buying a game that has been opened, the disc in a sleeve and the case off the shelf. Heres why...

What do people base things off of? Is it sealed? When we sell on ebay, just saying "mint"...doesnt cut it. If its not sealed anymore its considered used and open. So if a sealed game is 50 bucks on ebay, an opened game youre probabyl looking at 40 bucks. Its just how it is...so when i buy a brand new game, i expect it sealed.

And man, it burns my cupcakes when Gamestop hands me an opened game. The point i try to make is that i didnt create that sort of rule, people did. People like to open their own items, its the sense of satisfaction that you just bought something new and an unsealed game is used in my eyes.

I fully agree!! Why did gamestop start opening brand new games and selling open like that...It ticks me off!!

Same here! What i really cant stand is when you go and sell like a new game after like a week or two and they only give you 16 bucks for it.

I drove to Funcoland as a sophomore in High School the day Superman 64 was released. I actually played the game at the setup they had and thought the game was GOOD! I then shelled out $50 bucks for it. A day I will never forget when it comes to gaming.

BTW, I was looking forward to that game prior always drooling at pics in the magazines etc.

I refuse to buy GH labeled games. i will never buy a disc based game that isn't complete with original case and manual. Unless it was just something old on Saturn or PS1, etc that's just stupid rare and stupid cheap.

I'm very picky about the collector quality of my games.

Now let me give you more of my gaming confessions.

This gon' be the hardest thing I think I ever went and did.
On Live I once cussed out an eleven year old kid.
When gaming I do like to get drunk.
Oh and I really thought that Bioshock stunk.
Rolled my ankle playing Madden cause I like to stand up.
Dropped the difficulty down on DA2 cause I'm not man enough.

When I first tried the demo for God of War, I dismissed it as a Ninja Gaiden wannabe.

But then I played the full game, and I like the GoW series better than Ninja Gaiden. ;D

Im the same, i just cant buy GH labeled games! I have like 1 or 2 but they were freebies that i was able to just get, but when i buy its gotta be original labels.

I got a few in my collection. Just cheapo games I wanted to buy that i didn't care a ton about.

But my GH Symphony of the Night and FF VII need to be replaced. I onl;y have them because they were either free or extremely cheap..
