My pc library is pretty bare as I'm primarily a console gamer, but I recently checked out some of the small stuff on steam and was amazed at some of the quality I was seeing on pc. My videocard is only a ati HD4200 so I can only really play some of the smaller stuff. Looking to get some recommendations. I already own Trine, and Plants versus Zombies. I'm thinking about getting Torchlight. I really enjoyed the demo, and I hear there are mods for that, so that's a bonus. Not only that I prefer mouse controls for these games. There are quite a few that has piqued my interest. I played the demo for Amnesia and this is the exact kind of horror game I miss. Great to see a real horror game still alive on the pc. Really reminds me of gaming in the old days when it wasn't about shooting and action like it is on all the consoles now. For a point and click adventure Machinarium looks awesome. Love the artstyle, but $20 seems like a lot for this genre, anyone have this one? Capsized is another that looks very cool. Aquaria is another as well. What are some of your favourites?

I love the Sims 3 and GTA Vice City and San Andreas!
In my steam I have The Ship, all the Peggle games, Portal and Half Life.
I only have a laptop with Intel HD graphics so am quite limited with what I can play.
My husband likes PC games over console as well, he has Half Life 2, Doom 3, GTA 4 etc in his steam.

Peggle will be added as well. My mom recently got a laptop and I had her try some demos from steam and she enjoyed this one. Seems like a decent little game to pass time. I just tried the Nation Red demo and that was pretty good, though seems pretty difficult by yourself. Looks like a isometric perspective of what L4D would be. Edit-Seth how long did Machinarium take to finish? I want to really get this, but $20 is really a lot for these games. Even the Tiny Bang story demo was cool but that's $15 too. I wonder why these games are priced higher than other games that have more content. The first two games I'll probably get is Torchlight and Amnesia. Looking forward to getting some of these games. I feel like I'm in another world with pc games. You just don't see stuff like Amnesia and Machinarium on consoles, but even if you did they work much better with a k/m. Steam is pretty amazing, loving it.

Audiosurf. Got it for like 3 bucks, and it's one of the greatest indie games just to play when you don't feel like getting into anything serious.

I'm actually looking to review some indie games soon so I'll try to post the reviews here once I get them up.

Wow what a nice surprise. A nice fellow on the steam forums was nice enough to give me a bunch of indie games for free. What a great start to gaming on pc, some very nice stuff in here. A few duds, but alot of good stuff too.
Some are not all from steam though. Was given some of these from desura, another place like steam.
