I know they are coming out towards nextyear or end of this year, but I think i am going to delve in. I love Intel, but i loved AMD and i think that may be the perfect time to give AMD a new build.

It's going to be a bit before I upgrade again... My system currently is an i7, 6 gb ram, 295 gtx video. I might upgrade the video card to a dx11 card within a year, and might slap a couple SSD's in for grins but I don't have any other plans for a while.
might even throw another 6gb of ram in

I would love to upgrade as well, but since i'm in college, it's going to have to wait until i get a decent job  . My specs are : Intel Core 2 Due E6850 2GB DDR3 Ram ASRock G43Twins-FullHD GeForce GTS 250 1024MB Sound Blaster X-FI Fatality Tournament Edition or something. I really enjoy my computer, it could use more RAM, but it's not really hindering any of my games so i'm not too worried about it. |

yeah.. probably I posted it on the other thread.
I did end up ordering 12 gigs of ram (cas latency on my current ram is slow and rare now)...
I am still looking into new video cards, but honestly I don't think cpu is much of an issue unless you are doing video encoding or other multi-tasking heavy cpu jobs.
most games just don't need it.
