I still feel the game boards are fine the way they are.

I prefer we just make it a Console/PC Gaming Board & a Handheld gaming board w/o sub-boards. As it is right now it's just too slow across all the boards and it's cumbersome to find a topic in the main board and the sub boards.
Not to mention nowadays there's so many multiplatform titles anyway, and it would be better to have 360, PS3 and PC players all chime in on talking about say BF3 instead of having just one group discussing. I guess the only possible exception is the Wii right now because that's doing its own thing, but eventually the WiiU will be seeing its own set of multiplatform titles. I mean even now we have a thread talking about Bioshock 2 on the 360 forum even though that's multiplatform, but also a thread talking about Fable 3 on the general gaming arena forum. Really now? Let's try to keep things simple. One forum for Console/PC Gaming, one forum for Handheld Gaming. Or perhaps three forums (Console, PC, Handheld).
If we get huge traffic in the future I can see splitting things up. But for now keeping everything centralized would be better.
As it is right now I really don't like navigating between 4 different forums if I want a console discussion and 3 different forums for a handheld discussion.

Cpa, but thats the thing with the current setup. You dont have to navigate that many boards. I just checked and your subboard expansion is set to no.
If you turn that to yes, the gaming arena then becomes your main console board. So if someone is talking in the other boards you will see it. Thats why that setup is so nice because it eliminates having to browse other boards if you dont want too.
Alot of people like split brands, thats how IGN was setup...360 general, PS3 general, Wii general, PSP general, DS general etc...
You can get that effect *IF* you choose that, but if like you are saying you want to view only 2 boards so to speak you can, youll see every topic that enters those boards in the main hub of the categories.

Basically what im saying is if you turn that to "yes" in your profile. You only have to click 2 boards and thats it, and youll see every topic, every post that happens in the particular brand boards.

Ah. Didn't know we had that feature. My bad No worries! Its why though i try to make sure everyone knows about it, but with knowing that...do you think thats a fairly good setup? Because i know at first glance some go what the hell is that hah, but once they see how it works its honestly one of the best setups because it gives "seperate" boards for those who want it, and for those like you that want lets say 2 main boards for gaming topics, with that turned on you got exactly that It also keeps the communities alot closer.
