Joystiq is reporting that THQ has recently registered the domain name "Metro 2033 Last Light".
It is well known that a sequel to 2033 is in the works, but it was previously believed to be titled Metro 2034.
Whether this points to a new title for the sequel or if it is something completely different is unknown at this time. It may also be possible that this could be DLC for 2033 to bridge the gap to 2034, much like Bioware recently did with Mass Effect 2.
Either way, I'm happy to hear stuff trickle out about this series as the original was actually a very very fun and underrated title. If you haven't played it, you should check it out.

You know I started this game and got to the first part where you are outside and for some reason never went back to it. There was nothing in the game that I didn't like so I am not sure why I stopped playing it. Eventually I think I am going to have to go back and play this game.
