Is it decent? Is it worth a run? Ive had it since launch but i just never popped that sucker in yet. Does it have the DQ feel?

I haven't play this one in a while so I'm going off my memory here.
If I remember the game is sort of on-rails. You can move on your own but your set to a specific track.
The enemy encounters are random and it's not turn based but action based. I remember the game being a waggle fest for combat. Lots of swords slashes and holding B to block with your shield. That was the one thing that annoyed me was that after a certain amount of damage your shield would start to break and once it was broken you would have to go back to town and either have it repaired at a blacksmith or just go to sleep and it would repair. I really can't remember.
As far as length. The main story is pretty story about 8 hours, but there is addition content that can last up to 30 hours. I believe it's challenge tower of sorts.
Hope that helps some. Sorry about not being able to remember too much, I really remember being pumped for this game because I love Dragon Quest and then hugely disappoint when it was not a turn based rpg.
