Microsoft to acquire Skype, will support Live

Larry Herb has just announced that Microsoft has acquired Skype for a cool $8.5 billion. They will be working on implementing Xbox Live and Kinect support as well as Windows Phone.

What are your thoughts on this major acquisition?

I like the idea of live support, but I do use skype for work a lot so I hope they can't tell when I'm gaming (especially in office hours...)

Long as its like Messenger, they just need to take messenger out and replace it with skype. I'd like the idea of playing a game and not have to just sit there listening to people talk and Im.
