Final Fantasy VI for me, game is simply priceless...just one of those games that has aged perfectly even to this day and is a blast to play.

Only because I haven't beaten the Final Fantasys for the SNES (and partially because this was my first RPG ever) I have to pick Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars.

Chrono Trigger first and foremost will always have a special place in my heart; not only is it my favourite game of all time, but it was also the first I ever played. It's followed closely by Final Fantasy 6.

Chrono Trigger, easily.
That being said however, the SNES had a plethora of fantastic RPGs. The two Lufia games jump to mind.

Did you guys happen to play CT before FFVI? The reason i ask is because it seems from my experience over the years, that interestingly enough, most people that favor CT played CT first and then FFVI. Not sayin thats the case with you guys  but just curious. See for me in playing FFVI, it just stole my heart. So when i played CT it was good but i still had FFVI in my heart  |

I played FFVI way before CT came out. I had 2 or 3 playthroughs on FFVI before renting CT as a kid. Both games will always have a spot in my top 10 games that I have ever played and as for the best SNES RPG between the two, well, Final Fantasy VI wins the vote.
