Just wondering who is playing this here?? I am loving this game so far!! The story mode in this game is amazing!! Best story in any fighter I have played. I just hit chapter 6 and the story is still going strong. I haven't even cracked the challenge tower yet. 300 challenges!?  Thats going to take me forever to complete. Its unbelievable the amount of Kontent they have in the game. I am really surprised how this game came out. Really wasn't expected much. I can't wait til the PSN is back online so I can try this online. I am currently playing with Smoke as my main guy but want to master and tougher character. So who are you all playing as? |

Wow its that good M? Hmmm i may have to snag it. I bought DC vs MK when it came out and i thought it was pretty awesome, im glad to hear MK9 is turning out for people.

Yeah brother. I definitely would give it a go. I am not a huge fighter fan either. But this game is just amazing. They really outdid them selves and brought series back. It just reminds me so much of the classic MK's.

Glad you're enjoying it, I've been meaning to rent it as it does look like a fantastic iteration of the series. This is the first Mortal Kombat that's felt relevant in years.
Also, that's the first time I've heard it referred to as Mortal Kombat 9 ;D

I really want to play this but I live in Australia. Plenty of people are importing without it being confiscated, but I really don't know if I want that week of stress wondering if I've wasted my money.

What's the whole deal going on in Australia? Why did they ban the game? I never read into it and am now curious.

Well it's not technically banned, it's refused classification. Although we have an R18+ rating for movies, there isn't a similar classification for games. If something doesn't fit the guidelines for MA15+ then it is refused classification and unable to be sold or imported legally in Australia.
Also I wouldn't say a lot of good games have been effected. Left 4 Dead 2 was ruined by the cuts made and Fallout 3 ended up being modified in all territories. But most content gets pushed through easily with the MA15 rating (kind of a problem in its own really).
