Gameinformer.com has just made it official: the oft rumored remake of the original Halo is coming, and this Fall to boot. GI is reporting it is believed to be in development at Saber Interactive (TimeShift) and will not use the original graphics but instead utilize all new art to take advantage of the 360's power. I've got to say, I haven't been completely happy with the halo games past Halo 2. So I've been super excited about this new re-release of an updated version of the original halo, CE, especially since my xbox decided it didn't want to play my xbox original download off of live. Although, I'm still not quite happy with the way Master Chief looks in the game, in my opinion he looks really tall and skinny which doesn't bode well with him being a super muscular guy. I don't know. However, I've already decided I'm going to pre-order as soon as I make my way to gamestop. I'm just way too excited for this one.
EDIT: I just heard from the Game Stop employees that this game may only be released on reserves - meaning you have to pre-order if you want it. Can anyone confirm this? I mean, I'm going to pre-order it anyways but it is helpful information.

ill end up getting it i think. i never played halo 1 so maybe if i enjoy it, ill get into the series.
i always felt like i was missing something since i didnt care much for the little i did play of halo.
