Anybody playing that Shotguns of War 3 beta?

j/k but seriously man is the shotgun overused in the game. I just unlocked all my retail stuff (Trasher Cole and Gold Retro Lancer) and man the shotguns in the game (since there are two now) are like the weapon of choice.

I am also kinda bummed that Epic didn't release any updates unless they can re balance the game (which would be awesome) without the need for a tile update.

Anybody else enjoying the beta? At first I thought the retro launcher was trash but towards the end it became my weapon of choice. I loved shutting down people trying to rush me with either shotgun with it.

I had to do a double take when I saw this title. ;D

I think the Gnasher has too much range, personally.

The sawed off takes forever to reload and has limited ammo, so it's not completely OP.

I didn't like the Retro Lancer at first either but now I'm getting more familiar with it. The recoil initially threw me off a lot, but it gets easier to use with practice. I'm still trying to get 100 kills with it to unlock it for the retail. I was at 47 when I finished playing tonight.

So my weapons of choice right now are the Retro Lancer and the Gnasher.

I am enjoying the beta a lot still. My favorite game type is King of the Hill. I'm not really great at killing, but I can capture and break the hills like crazy, so I feel at least somewhat useful in KOTH. ;D
