Who are your favorite game developers?

I think hands down Atlus for me. I feel they dont skimp on any of their games, I always feel I'm getting my money's worth. That's just one of my favs, what about you guys?

There are quite a few. I love Epic. But if I go with one it will be BioWare.

Square used to be on the list, but they've certainly fallen in recent years. They're still capable of putting out some good games, but definitely not the same company of old.

Yea im on board with Bioware also, NIS, Konami, Level 5, Rockstar is hit or miss for me, Monolith....there are so many good companies out there.

Visual Concepts (NFL 2K, NBA 2K) NFL 2K5 owned my soul (Ign even said that)
Gearbox (Borderlands, Duke Nukem) countless hours and great multiplayer (BL)
Valve (Half Life, Portal) ....nuff said
Netherealm (Mortal Kombat)..sorry, I love this game.

If Atlus would release Disgaea on Xbox 360, they would be on the list.
Remedy would also be on the list if they didn't sell Max Payne to Rockstar.
If Rockstar can make Max Payne 3 better than Remedy, they'll be on top 5.
SquarEnix lost credibility after FFXII with FFXI, FFXIII, and FFXIV.
Nintendo does well, but they need a serious overhaul in console power.

I think UBISOFT does it for me, it's something I've noticed in the last year or so I get really absorbed into their games.
Have to give special mention to rockstar but with them I have to space it out between games, can't play two rockstar games in a row if u know what I mean, although rockstar are publishers more than developers unless a game sells well and rockstar then buy said developer and rename it rockstar north or something.

Valve as a game company is the best rounded I've ever seen. They deliver brilliant games each time around, they listen a great deal to the community, and they are incredibly supportive of community interaction (mods and such)

Game-wise I'd say Retro, as I love Nintendo and they've done great things with the Nintendo franchises they've gotten their hands on (all two of them)

Even though I really only play Starcraft, I must say that Blizzard is an amazing dev as well, they never rush their products, and it's literally always of the utmost quality.
