So I bought this game when it first came out but I held off on playing it because of all the freeze issues plus the other issues many gamers were having. I recently started playing it and am pretty far in my journey. Tonight I get home load up and am prompted to download a patch. So I do(big mistake). I go to load a save and it can't find my dlc and then if you continue to load it freezes. I go online and see that others are having these issues. I should have been smarter when it comes to this game. Now I have to wait for a fix and hope my saves are not corrupted.

Oh wow Potter...that doesnt sound good buddy. Hm, you know i would of thought they had that game ironed out by now. I actually put in close to 90 hours and i had some issues early on but nothing too too bad. That patch sounds like it really jacked things up. I sure hope it didnt corrupt your files.

Yeah I figured they would have gotten their act together. I was going fine and the last few days I did have a couple of freezes. Now I download the patch and bam can't even load a save. I think if my saves are corrupted I may be done. I put in over 60 hours already and still have some more of the main missions and the dlc to do.

Wow yea, i said that to myself too. I hope you have numerous saves, or did you have one main save? Hopefully it can be corrected but wow Obsidian really just, wow...

I have a lot of saves. So I am hoping that if there is some corruption it is just the one I tried to load. If that is the case I won't lose that much progress. But I am not going to play until I know the update is fixed. So annoying.

Yea thats the only good thing, it shouldnt...corrupt them all. Only one of mine when things would go bad would get corrupted. If it all is bad then yea, that sucks man..hopefully not.

They updated the update and happy to say that none of my saves were corrupted. I would have been seriously pissed if is was.
