oh boy. so glad i got a new video card this week. trust me, it would have been to to buy it NEXT week, it'd still have been in time for release  Blizzard's "home stretch" will probably translate to a late 2012 release  |

I bought Diablo 2 and Lord Of Destruction yesterday because of a thread on GAF where some guys are playing it online, and then i remembered i couldn't play with them, because my account is waiting for activation. DAMN.
So, if some of you guys want to play Diablo 2 again, we could play online. And use Skype for voice chat.

This will be a blast to play for a week or two when it comes out. I doubt I will play it "long term" like some of you guys did, but who knows. It will depend how good it is. I bet they make it much bigger in terms of loot and such than Diablo 2.

don't screw with blizzard.. They are about the only company I know that makes consistently high quality games because they produce it correctly IE it's done when it's done..
although.. activision has screwed up some of my image of blizzard some.. as once they got their grubby hands on blizzard they have done tons and tons of money grabs with WoW...
the amount of pay for extras exploded with activision

Considering Diablo 3 will have arenas (which spawned the elitism and even worse community that made WoW unenjoyable for me), it doesn't give me high hopes, especially with no Paladin or Necromancer classes, I wouldn't be surprised if there was pay for extras for D3 as well. |

I don't care about the arena's. PVP is not what made Diablo fun in the past, nor do I care about them adding that for the people who want to do that. Removing LAN is more of an issue for me then anything else, as it will require the lan parties to have a solid internet connection to play now
