i have been waiting for this a long time as well, it's supposed to be my glorious return to MMOdom ever since i quit WoW 3 years ago  now all the damn thing needs to do is actually come out and be GOOD  and no i'm not in the beta, i don't roll like that, i wait for the end product and if it's great i shall get it  wait why does it show the finger emoticon when i CLEARLY selected the ninja one? hmmm |

Yea im torn on this one Rusty...actually, strike that, reverse it....im excited but im also enjoying Rift. So thats will be my dilemna once ToR comes out.
But i gotta say, i was quite bummed with SWG...and it really didnt give me my star wars fix. So i definitly have to try ToR when it comes out and i do hope its good, i really do.

I'm waiting for it, but at the same time, I remain skeptical as I was displeased with DA2, and the direction they are taking their newer games in.
So, we'll see.

I am really looking forward to this game. I'm even an officer in my old/new guild that is moving on to this mmo.  I've decided on Jedi Consular for my first character, but I'm thinking of going to the darkside. No mmo's lately have kept my attention for very long. I played Aion for awhile, but I got bored with it and never even made it to max lvl. Rift was ok, but felt like a boring grind pretty early. I have faith in Bioware, I'm hoping it's at least half as fun as it seems. |

I really do wonder what their end game will be like, im so hit and miss with MMOs anymore these days. This is the main reason I'll wait until it's out for awhile. I have to admit though, that trailer and the jedi trailer really hit the old "nostalgia" button. |

I am back into full blown Star Wars mode...Currently playing thru Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic again...That made me want to finally buy Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2 (Can't believe I haven't played it yet honestly)
Well, now I am really looking into this game...It looks pretty badass! I hope it succeeds because this might be the first ever MMO I play.

I decided not to sub to Eve Online, and I am currently playing LOTRO while I wait for TOR to come out. I'm kind of a Star Wars nerd anyways, so it's no surprise I am eagerly awaiting this game.

Been following the PVP stuff, and now I am looking forward to the game, skepticism aside. Definitely going Trooper Vanguard. Can't wait to start destealthing some Sith Assassins and punching them in the face.

I've seen so much great stuff on the game, i simply can't wait to try it. It just seems to really break from every other MMO out there. The dialogue, the cinematic experience. I've seen people who've said they hate questing in MMO's but that SW:TOR quests don't feel like MMO quests at all, they feel like missions from a full RPG, which really excited me. And then the little things, like how if you're in a group and one of your group mates gets into a conversation, you can join them via holoprojector wherever you are.
Really excited.

This definitly is my next big MMO excitement, I really hope the game hits the mark. SWG failed badly for me so im hoping this gives me the Star Wars world i been craving.

If it sucks, it sucks, but I hope it is at least as good as KOTOR 1, which I enjoyed. If that is the case, I expect to play a few play throughs on different characters.
As for longevity and whether it addicts me or not, well, I doubt I will ever play a MMO as much as I played WoW ever again but I hope this is great.

I am soo hyped for this game now!!! Been reading about this game for the past several days...Looks pretty Epic!
It also would be pretty awesome to hook up with some of you guys in the game...Especially because I am an MMO noob and could use some guidance.

I definitely want to try it out. Lately with MMO's I feel like I work myself up so much getting excited to try something out only to feel really disappointed. I dont know what happen but everything I read lately is getting me really excited to try it out.
Like everybody else, I think the story lines of the classes will be enough to keep me playing for a while. Every time I see a new video or something, I find I get more excited about playing a different class. Except the bounty hunter, the progression video on that one turned me off. I thought it looked a bit weird to play, but i could be totally wrong too.
Right now its tied between a Jedi Knight or a Smuggler. I don't know which. The trooper temps me too.

Our guild leader keeps us really up to date on info about SWTOR on our guild website. I keep us up on Star Wars parody videos on Youtube, heh.
