I don't remember my first game but I do remember playing all those games like Pac Man, Q Bert, Pitfall, Mouse Trap, Keystone Kapers, and a ton of others. We had a Gemini, Coleco, and Atari at some point or another. The first system I played like crazy though was the NES and Mario Bros and Duck Hunt. I remember the dog laughing and I remember always putting the gun right up to the TV. I also remember having the ROB thing that came with the NES. Does anyone remember that thing? Heck yeah! R.O.B. sucked, but he still looks neat! Gotta get me one here soon.

Yea R.O.B i remember looking so awesome, but it was so useless...i remember gyromite being a game for it and it was just so not fun lol There was another game called Stack Up if i recall that used R.O.B, but i honestly think that was all that for that thing. It looked neat but yea, they did nothing with it.

I do remember Gyromite but not Stack Up. I don't think they ever did anything with it because they realized that it doesn't work quite as well as they thought it may. Back then it seemed like you can get away with more things like that. Harder for people to make a real uproar because there wasn't nearly as many outlets to make your voice heard quickly.

The first game I remember beating without the aid of a Game Genie is Legend of Zelda on the NES.

My brother had Atari and I played that, but my official first game was Kung Fu for Nintendo. What a classic.

My first gaming system that I had at home was the Odyssey 2 by Magnavox. It was available in the early 80s around the time the Atari 2600 came out. I think it was first and got crushed by Atari. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnavox_Odyssey%C2%B2My dad bought it cheap off a guy he worked with he had it and bought an atari and was just trying to off load it for like 50 bucks. My 2 favorite games were KC Munchkin and Pickaxe Pete. Which were total ripoffs of Pacman and Donkey Kong. I remember that KC Munchkin had a randomize maze thing so it was always different. The best/worst part about the randomizer is that sometimes it bugged and it would trap a dot inside 4 walls and you couldn't get it, and you could never finish the level. I haven't thought about that in a long time, good memories!

I think either Super Mario Brothers or Super Mario 3. Or maybe it was Donkey Kong. I was way too little to remember. I know for sure I used to play Virtual Bowling at the local bowling alley while my parents would play the real thing. Maybe that was my first video game.

I think many of us started on atari and stuff and when i think back to my official first first game, thats tough. I honestly cant remember, i owned Sega Master System when it was out so it had to be something on that system. But overall i just simply dont remember my first game outside of atari.

The first video game that I ever played was Hang On, it was built into the original Master System along with Safari Hunt (whatever that shooting game was called). The first video game that I fell in love with was Phantasy Star on the Master System. Began my RPG obsession
