I've been obsessed with captain coop mode online lately in Mount & Blade: With Fire and Sword. For those not familiar with the mode it's basically firefight or horde mode from other shooters where enemies come at you in waves while you and your buddies fend them off. In M&B you choose your troop type and from there you can buy troop members (up to 6) and equipment. Money is earned from kills and completing waves and equipment and solders are limited to what wave you are in. For example you cannot fully kit out your character at wave 3 even if you could afford top tier stuff. You then command your troops and kill the oncoming waves. Something about commanding troops and watching other players online command their troops and form up proper and lay down semi-realistic 17th/18th century style battles is just addicting. I feel like Napoleon or George Washington or something

For the longest time I would only get up to like wave 7 and 8 and that's with 5-7 other people. However now that people have figured it out and the prisoner caravans work proper I've gotten up to wave 17 (veteran wave 7). Basically how the prisoner caravan works is that when your buddies die during the wave you can go bust up the caravan and they come back. Otherwise they have to wait for the next wave which means kill all the enemies or surviving the set time. I was starting to get a bit burned out on sieges and battles but this captain coop has revitalized my obsession with M&B MP.
