Lots of games have been great this generation, but there's always that one game that makes you come back for more. Which game is that for you? How about having it categorized like: -Single-player -Multi-player Easily DAOC has the most hours. Especially when my main toon had like ~400 days log in time. Easily could be 500 days when alts and other main toons are included. Granted I was AFK a lot so actual play time was closer to < 400 =P Pretty crazy when I think about it. But for non-MMO picks: Oblivion for single player. I wouldn't be surprised if I spent 200+ hrs especially when you include mod-hunting and installing. That's just amazing for a single player experience. Counter-strike got so much time from me. I started playing it after beta 5.2 came out (2000) and couldnt stop until right around 1.6 released (2003). I rocked that game and went to tournaments and everything. I'd go to lan gaming places and snipe people with scouts all day long and then see them get pissed off And those koreans (or viet) didnt play around when it came to competitive play.

Single Player: WoW Multiplayer : WoW ;D Seriously. This for me, too. MMOs aside, I would say Final Fantasy Tactics for SP, and Halo 3 for MP.

Single Player: Probably Oblivion.
But I've played through Mass Effect 1 and 2 so many times that they are probably closing in on Oblivion. And having played through FFXIII twice means that's probably up there as well.
Multiplayer: Halo 3
I played nothing but Halo 3 for several months when it first came out. And whenever they would add new stuff I played again. And then of course there was trying to get all the skulls and achievements and stuff.
Halo Reach would be the runner up. And I also logged a lot of time into the Gears 3 beta in the short time it ran.

Star Ocean 3: Til the End of Time. I've got a save with 1,500 hours on it right now. Disgaea 2 is next in line with 800 hours.
I play games for completion x.x

-Single-player - Halo 2
I haven't really counted the hours for either but the Halo 2 campaign is one I used to play through repeatedly simply because I loved the game play so much. I can't think of any other games that have even come close - excluding if you put all of the hours I've played all of the different Rock Band games together.
-Multi-player - Brutal Legend // Halo 3
I don't spend too much time online but I'm not sure which of these two I've played more. I know I played Brutal Legend online plenty of times but I would go through phases where I'd do nothing but play Halo 3 online. My memory is not that good.

The two games I've played the most this gen are:
Pokémon Diamond
and
Tatsunoko vs Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars
I've put well over 100 hours into each game. I suppose if I added up all the hours I've spent playing the various Guitar Hero games (and counted them all as ONE game) then I think that would be pretty high, too.
