I have had a close eye on this game and despite the naysayers and the "it's just like Fallout 3" arguments, I am pretty excited for this release. More so now that i have watched the video in the linked article. Check it out! kotaku.com/5818948/the-end-of-the-world-is-the-beginning-of-rageAs much as I love my Summer, Fall can't get here soon enough with all the upcoming releases.

I can't wait for this game. This and Battlefield 3 are my most anticipated games of the Fall/Winter.

It'll have to wait. The majority of my gaming comes outside of football season.
Looks good though, forget the people comparing it to other games.

October 4th. Hell that's less than three months away.
The vehicles still scare me a bit though. If they get that right it looks like it can be an all time classic.

This is a game I've been watching since it's announcement. I have to admit I'm also nervous about the vehicle part but it looks like the game is going to be a blast.

Who are the naysayers? This game looks like it's gonna be a blast! Mainly I reference people that are saying this is a fallout clone and isn't going to match up to the pure amazingness of Fallout 3.

How are peopple not excited about Rage? It's nothing like Fallout (not an open world RPG), and it's Shooter gameplay looks like it trumps just about... everything else.

The whole "it is Fallout" argument is bullshit and nothing more than the rants of retarded gaming journalists who should of gotten a real job at McDonald's instead of infecting the World Wide Web with whatever crap the few working synapses of their brains can publish to the web. id Software always makes good games. Even Doom 3 was pretty good to play through when all is said and done. This is a day 1 purchase for me.

I had originally been watching this game like a hawk when I first saw the release footage. But nowadays, not so much. I mean, it still looks utterly amazing and the way the enemies respond and react looks like it could be quite a challenge. The world looks awesome and worth exploring, but I'll probably end up waiting until the game is in the bargain bin before thinking about purchasing it.
