Title was to long, meant to say Oscuro’s Oblivion Overhaul really does change Oblivion I played the game on 360 back when it came out and hated the level scaling aspect of it. Well this mod seems to fix a lot of my problems with the game. No more loot scaling to your level do a hard dungeon, actually get rewarded! And I do mean hard Right when I exited the tutorial sewers, apparently I wondered off to far and got absolutely demolished by a group of outlaws and their wolves. I don't even think I was able to damage them ;D Can't wait to put more time in this, this could be the Oblivion I always wanted

Yeah its the version I'm using.
Still working on finding the right mix of graphical mods. The standalone game looks decent, but the updated texture packs look great. Only real problem is the texture pop in for grass when outside is horrendous. I guess its always been like that but I just didn't remember it. Gonna try a few more mods and see if any help with that.

Are there new items implemented into this mod?

The description of the mod says "and hundreds of new weapons and items to the game."
So hopefully!

Is there an omod version so I can just load it up with the Oblivion mod launcher...thingy? Every mod I tried where I just straight up manually replaced or added files never seemed to work 100% correctly or at all. When I use the mod launcher and just choose from a list of mods to activate it seems pointless dealing with other crap.
So far I'm running some mardigen (sp?) monster mod and Coulourwheels Sexy Oblivion Overhaul. I'm only a few hours in so I haven't seen how big of a difference the monster mod is. The CW Sexy overhaul definitely does make the female characters more interesting to look at but I'd rather see the environment get a visual overhaul. I've tried qarl's TP3 but can't seem to get it to work.

I used OOO back in the day, and I thought it was a very good overhaul pack. It made my subsequent treks through the game much more enjoyable.

(btw I hope they really fix how mods are applied in skyrim) Its easier to mod Fallout 3 so I hope Bethesda learned from it.
