I decided to play DC Universe again as I had fun with it the first time around.
Started up a new character, and finished the tutorial. I get my first mission and head out. It's a ghost town. I flew around for 10 minutes and didn't see another person.
Firgured it had to be the server I was on. Load up one of my earlier characters on a different server, head out, and it too is a ghost town.
Load up one more character on yet another server, and the same thing.
Does anyone play this game anymore? It's pretty fun, but not that fun when playing alone. Maybe it was the time I was on, but I would think a game like this would be pretty well populated.

Bummer it died already man, i played that game when it released and it was really fun. Rift stole my attention but it was really a fun game. Have you tried Champs Online yet? It seems that game just gets attention, i never played it but it went free so i downloaded it!

It seems that game just gets attention, i never played it but it went free so i downloaded it! I played Champs for about a month when it first came out. Wasn't too impressed with it. Honestly I still prefer City of Heros over any other super hero game. Champs is probably doing pretty well now that it's ftp. CoH is suppose to be ftp soon too, if it's not already. Maybe DCU with be ftp eventually and we'll see it's popularity increase. |

City of heroes! That was the one I couldn't remember. I gotta admit superhero mmos are pretty cool.
What kind of hero did you play in DC:U?

I tried the game, and it was a lot of fun, but empty. I'm not sure why this one didn't catch on.

Yea after I hit 30 it felt kind of empty. I loved my superhero but i dont know there just wasnt anything grabbing me to further it. I think if it went to 50 and there was a little more to grab a person it would of been alright.

I wanted to get this game so badly but it was just out of my price range - including the subscription, etc. But, if it's dead then I guess I see no point. Dang.
