Well, what say you? You going to see it? In 3D or 2D? Im going tommorow afternoon since im still unemployed like a boss Probably gonna hit 3D one (even thought i hate the gimmick) because ive heard NOTHING but awesome about the 3D application to this movie. Even my dude at the theater who always tells me if certain movies are worth it says i have to see this one in 3D. Said every employee that saw it last night was astounded how well the 3D was. According to Bay, he did have James Cameron on set quite a bit to oversee shooting in 3D as they had numerous meetings about it before they actually started filming.

3D Tonight at 12:01! Thats actually in a view hours. 3D Now a days barely gives effects. Remember Back in the day when a movie was 3D it had to be either really cool, or really good. Either way 2D or 3D this movies going to be awesome.

I went to see it in 2D but, man, I totally wish I would have put in the extra $3 to see it in 3D. I'm assuming it would have been awesome, specifically the scene with Starscream *no spoilers*.

Any reviews? I've enjoyed the Transformers movies. I was never a fan of the TV show so I am not as hardcore as some of the fans.

I took my daughter to see it. I could have waited for DVD but she likes the cartoons. She has been planning on us going to see the movie forever, so I had to do it. Even though I thought it was a bit much for her age.
I enjoyed it overall. Just like 2, I thought they could have compressed alot of things and picked the pace of the story up. I thought they could have pared it down and developed the story line better, but that's not what Bay does. He demands it to be awesome!
One funny part was that they were driving down an interstate and they drive past a road sign on I-88 for the Aurora exit. Then they were suddenly in Washington DC.
The problem being that I-88 and Aurora is in Illinois west of Chicago. I know, i grew up there! ;D

It was Ight. It wasn't Orgasmic or anything. Arunne's right the Story could have been told more, They cant just bring in Sentintal Prime without giving more backstory on him. Then Shockwave and the Wreckers Magically appear with no explaination. What drives me mad, is How WERE THEY RUNNING MILES AND MILES IN CHICAGO, GETTING THROWN AROUND IN FALLING BUILDINGS, FIGHTING STARSCREAM, BUT WERE STILL NOT TIRED?!

Any reviews? I've enjoyed the Transformers movies. I was never a fan of the TV show so I am not as hardcore as some of the fans. Well, if you've seen the first two a lot of it is very similar and in some cases the exact same thing. The acting was quite horrendous through most of the film and I just hate Bay giving Prime those puffed out lips instead of the cover. It seemed like the plot twists they through in were very dumb and unnecessary. They made Shockwave into the big, bad one that everyone was constantly worrying about. However, Megatron and Starscream were actually in character in this one - as opposed to the second film - which left me squealing. The action scenes were fun to watch with a lot of explosions. I'd have to say if it's your type of movie - like if you've seen the first two and enjoyed them - to go ahead and go see it. The fights and explosions were epic on the big screen. But, if those types of movies aren't your style I'd suggest waiting for the DVD release. It all just depends on what you're into.

I agree that if you liked 1 and 2 then you will enjoy it. I saw it in 3D. I wasn't overly impressed with the 3D though. There were some cool parts like the one mentioned above but I wouldn't call it a must see in 3D.
I think that 3 was better than 2 and close to 1 in overall quality. I enjoyed the twist as I didn't see that coming.

From what I've read, I'll get to see giant robots fighting each other, which is what I want from this movie.

Saw it last night at the 11 p.m. showing (I'm filled with partial regret, if that makes sense).
I liked it, it wasn't too slow at the beginning which was my gripe with the first two. I really enjoy Malkovich and Jeong.
I got my big fighting robots, which is what I asked for. Only real gripe I have is that some of the Transformers from 1+2 were left out, sort of pulled from the potential epic nature of the final battle.
Unfortunately I don't think they'll be a 4th, I was really coming to enjoy these movies.

I thought it was entirely too long. This isn't The Godfather, it's rockem sockem robots for shit sake. The action spots were fantastic though.
