Anyone have any experience with this stuff? Does it actually work? I don't want to get jacked up as I don't really like lifting weights but from the advertisments I hear this sounds like it is multifunctional.

Yea man its pretty legit, i know a couple guys that got shredded with P90X.
The best thing to do is start with the regular P90. Its just sort of the appetizer to P90X. But you wont get massively jacked with it, but you can get pretty shredded with it. Youll definitly gain mass but nothing that will hulk you out.
P90 and P90X are some great workout programs.

Cool thanks. I hear is on ESPN radio all the time and Mike Greenberg said it helped him bulk up as Golic said it helped him to slim down and get more fit. I didn't know if I could trust it because anyway would say anything for the almight dollar although those guys seem like they have a little more integrity.

I've completed P90X. It's definitely is not a gimmick. It will get you the results you are looking for. However, it is very time consuming and difficult. P90X has two programs included, Classic and Lean. The Classic program has more weight training while the Lean program is more cardio-based. Also, if you decide to do the Classic program, you can adjust your goals by altering your weight and reps during the weight training. High reps low weight for toning or heigh weight low reps for bulk.
I just started another round of P90X last Monday. I hate it. But I love it.

Well thanks for the feedback. I would more then likely go the cardio based route. Also I see they give you a diet plan. It is not like one of those things where they actually send you the meals right? I don't think it is but just wondering because I am trying to determine was kind of cost this will entail.

It is just a book that tells you what to eat and gives you recipes to make them. I know a few guys that do the diet with the workout. They spend a ton of time shopping for and prepping meals.

Pretty much anything BeachBody puts out is a legit workout, I'd say. I have TurboFire, which is more cardio than P90X (not looking to be a muscly chick). I just wouldn't order the DVDs directly from them. I hear a lot of people have issues with them sending stuff you didn't order and charging for it, then if you try to get a refund it's a total nightmare. Your best bet is to order from eBay. It'll be cheaper besides, and you won't have to deal with their bs.

It is not like one of those things where they actually send you the meals right? I don't think it is but just wondering because I am trying to determine was kind of cost this will entail. Working out is only a small percentage of the day, the real work is your meal plan. You don't have to eat exactly what the P90x book says but I would stick to their guidelines for daily cals and macros. As far as doing the cardio routine... no offense but that's pretty lame. Why wouldn't you want to put on a bit of muscle in the process. Newbie gains only happen once, take advantage. You're not going to get big with p90x. I always have to laugh when people say they don't want to lift weights because they don't want to get huge. It ain't that easy to put on muscle mass. Having strength and a bit of muscle mass is very beneficial for overall heath and daily activities.
