Ok, I can still see the X new messages message up top, but I can't see the inbox and outbox links. Once I click the X new messages link it opens up something an extra area below that in the center of the top bar that has the inbox outbox etc links in it. I have to click inbox to get to my messages. Meaning to get to my inbox I have to click X new messages then go over and click inbox. It may be something weird with my Firefox, but I just wanted to note it to see if it did the same thing for others. It's a bit of an annoyance having to click the first link then the second just to get to my inbox. Not a major deal by any means, but I can't help but think it's an error in the theme or my FireFox.

Well, whatever this is, it does the same thing for me and just makes my computer lag with loading time so what I've been doing is just clicking the "New Message" link found at the bottom of the forum in the info center. I guess it doesn't bother me so much but I do see how it could be an annoyance.
But to answer you, I don't think it's just you, seeing as how I have the same problem.

Ill look into it guys for sure. I havent had any slow down issues with it but ill definitly take a look and ill see if i can find something a little more solid.
The reason i was using this PM box was because the drop down shows the options nicely, i think its easy to miss "preferences" on the PM page.
Or is navigating around the PM area fairly easy to see whats what?

If you're interested you could take a look at this code for a pm bar thing. Not saying you should use it or anything, just a suggestion. I personally think it looks pretty spiffy. L I N K |

Much better, only suggestion is that you make it stick out a bit more. With the ad there it's a bit difficult for new users to know where to look.
The previous bar thing worked, but I just got irritated that it wasn't permanently popped out, if it was and you have x new messages took you to your inbox then I'd be just fine with it, the whole two clicks thing was the annoying part.

This new one is really decent, whats here is sort of temporary as the new complete rehaul look will be implemented soon and everything should be properly setup.
Btw, use an adblocker, at least use firefox to view the site...the adblocker in FF works wonders here and you dont even know the ads exsist.

If you would want to use it, there is a code that will move the banner below the advertisement. It can help the forum look more compact and together instead of being broken up by an ad or the blank space that is there when using an adblock. Yet again, just a suggestion. L I N K |

Thats a pretty nice code actually TCR, ill think on it...the thing is using firefox with it adblocker i dont even see ads anymore! But for those that do ill definitly think on this one man, i wish we could put the ad at the bottom of the page tbh.
