Would McMahon buy TNA? "Maybe"

Please save the business from Dixie Carter. (McMahon lightly laughs) Stephanie McMahon has more brains than Dixie Carter. (McMahon: Ooh.) I think if you buy it now, there's a shot at fixing that company up because I know you'll put the right people in charge of that company.

McMahon: I'm (long pause) - I don't know that they're for sale.

Shareholder: They're not for sale now, but I'm sure if you offered them something - I don't know, it's a 50/50 shot.

McMahon: Well - (deep groan) Maybe.

Oh man id be so torn on if id like or hate that. I feel competition is just so needed but then again TNA isnt really bringing the heat. But i love TNA's roster, and WWE scrapped alot of those dudes so i think they would end up being cut.

Im so tired of the WWE roster right now, i really am. So that is the part of me that wishes they would buy TNA and utilize the talent but...that will never happen.

Yeah I'm on the fence about that too. While TNA's product is really not going anywhere right now, I think having actual competition (no matter how small) is good for WWE.

As a side note about TNA, that opening segment of this weeks episode was so bad. This show is getting to the point where I might just read recaps to keep up with the story until they start improving.

Yea TNA needs to really reanalyze its strategy, big time.

On a side note, i just read that WWE is going to try and make WWE more edgy again, but still within the PG boundaries.

That's good news, supposedly Trips is calling a lot of the shots these days so it may be his influence.

Back on TNA I've read they are thinking about re-branding to Impact Wrestling or Impact Pro Wrestling, something like that.

Vince and WWE CFO George Barrios said a lot of interesting things in this press conference. They spoke on pirating, the pg direction, the removal of the word "wrestling" from the company name, and more.

That's the part of the article I'm clinging to. I just hope they keep pushing the "backwards to go forwards" thing even more and bring us interesting, charismatic, colorful characters and less backstage segments, etc.

In a day and age where kids adore crapola like Justin bieber, no one could tell me a more colorful wrestling roster wouldn't fit right in. Vince just needs to do it, do it!

TNA's roster is like old stuff WWE threw out during a garage sale. Jeff Hardy is a lava lamp with a "crack" in it. Hulk Hogan is a torn T-shirt with a stain on it. Jeff Jarrett is a broken Acoustic guitar with no strings. Steiner is a worn out recliner. Sting is a VCR that eats your tapes. Mr. Anderson is like a CD player that skips.

Then you have the women's division, which is like trashy slutty clothes you don't want your daughter to wear. Yet you wish your wife would wear.

Then you have Karen Angle and Chyna now, which is like your ex wives clothes you want to get rid of.

Then you have the X-division, which is like clothes you get for Christmas from relatives that didn't fit you because they were too small or you just didn't like them.
