Hah, I haven't been watching a live stream (we get it here tomorrow on TV), but was just looking at some of the draft picks so far on pwtorch. Interesting sending away Cena and Orton. Not surprised about Sin Cara though, that guy needs to be on pre-taped TV.

Decent RAW, The Rock is just always fun to watch..i wish hed be back full time.

I like that they are trying to push Mason Ryan, im a fan of big dudes like that. And when will Drew Macintyre become something?

I kinda fast forwarded through most of the rock stuff to be honest. I like him as a personality but not when it's like 15 minutes of talking. I agree with Mason Ryan, although now it's like....why have the new Nexus at all?

PS. Any chance they will start saying "Implant buster" for Awesome Kong's move? (nope) I wonder what they will rename it to.

On that note, i havent watched tonights episode yet how was it?

Only watched the first hour of it tonight, due to fireworks. And sadly, I wasn't really even watching it because of doing up dishes, trying to figure out why in the blazes our AC unit stopped working (melting here!).

Last week's RAW was PHENOMENAL! CM Punk is just friggin' awesome, haha.

I am though sooooo tired of the anonymous GM angle, they need to do something with it. I know that Foley is out of impact, i got a huge hunch that somehow someway he will return as the RAW GM. I wouldnt mind that but i simply wish they would get on with it.

Yeah, I agree with the GM thing. It was hilarious at first. Now? It's just dumb. Plain and simple.

I would have loved to see it be Rock, even Stone Cold. Honestly, I don't think its anyone.

Yea, if they end up just saying it was Cole or even Vince ill feel quite let down I think they just simply have nobody that is a good fit for the angle really, ashame too because it started off pretty fun and now its just been run into the ground.

Oh, god, that whole Cole thing was RIDICULOUS! That was my one letdown at WM27. Actually, it pissed me off, haha. And how they kept continuing it was just stupid!

I haven't been too happy with RAW lately, and then a friend who is a indy wrestler put it in a different perspective for me (he made a general statement on twitter): it's entertainment. It's meant to be entertainment, and if you constantly nitpick and criticize and talk down about everything they do, then you might as well stop watching because its ruined to you. If you watch just one show without any of that, you'll enjoy it.

So I have been doing that lately, and while as an adult I can see and understand why somethings are happening (and some arent), I have kind of rediscovered it through my son's eyes. I hope that makes sense, lol. Every jump off the top rope, every DDT, chokeslam, he is thoroughly entertained. He and my daughter sit here and trash talk the heels, lol. It's awesome!

They are doing RAW here again on Halloween night, so we are going to take the kids. It will be their first WWE Event (I have joint custody with their Dad, so every other time there has been a WWE event in the last 2 years, they've not been here), and I am just as excited to go as they are.

Thats definitly awesome for you to be able to have your kids get into it and all that, im sure that adds a nice element!

I know thats what many people will say its just entertainment, but i think thats where the problem is. Its not a wrestling federation anymore, but just entertainment and i miss when it was a wrestling federation...when belts meant something, when it wasnt AS predictable as it is these days...you sort of know how every raw will end.

Thats my only major qualm, and i wish wrestlers would get a little more creative and actually make characters. Its just funny how the federation is regular names. Alex Riley, John Morrison, Randy Orton, John Cena...

There are guys i get into since i gotta find something to enjoy about it, but i miss the creativity of the past years

That's the problem:

Everything evolves and changes when we don't want it to, or aren't ready for it. It's just like everything else entertainment-wise/sports wise.

I would be happy if the belts just mean something again. The tag team belts used to be coveted. They have been a joke, what, five years now? Now the World titles are starting to get lost, although there was a spark when Christian held it because he made me believe he really wanted it.

I also agree with the other points brougt up.

-Anon GM is now generic.

-I miss wrestlers with character. I like the ones who have a distinct personality. In the past these were people like Macho Man Randy Savage. Their nicknames were just as much a part of their names and character as their regular names. You don't really get that anymore. Wrestlers' nicknames are not displayed with their regular names. You won't see "The Viper Randy Orton" in text, and if someone says "The Viper" they always say "Randy Orton" with it; you never hear the nicknames for the new guys on their own, and a lot of people don't have nicknames. I think this ties into the lack of personalities. At least we got Santino; I just hate he gets buried at times.

Tag teams need a huge comeback, im so tired of guys being thrown together. Some of the greatest stars came from original tag teams, i dont know why Vince just does not give tag teams their fair due anymore.
