This has to be 5-6 years ago, me and a buddy were eating Downtown before a Pirate game when we noticed a couple girls walk by that were wearing tails. I was going to the Art Institute at the time so I didn't think anything of it. They would have fit right in at that school. A couple more walk by, a couple more and we're thinking what the fuck. We walk out and there has to be hundreds of people dressed as cats, unicorns, etc, walking towards the convention center. With no warning it was like we stepped out into another world. We had no idea what a furry was at the time either. Still wish I had a camera with me.

So I have to ask... why exactly has there been a recent influx of furry's in Pitt? Is there a convention going on or something? I drove by one one time and I nearly wrecked my car. It's not normal seeing people dressed up as giant animals petting one another.

Yes. There was a furry convention last weekend. I was working at an offsite location about an hour outside of Pittsburgh and one of the nurse's had some app or something on her phone that came up with a furry name based on your real name.

Needless to say, mine was "Winter Darknight"

I am not sure what animal that would be. Maybe a badger?

LOL My cousin is a furry. He is a wolf or he wants to be a wolf but he can't afford the costume or so the story goes. His girlfriend is a furry as well and she is a pink something. Can't remember what.

I never thought about what I would be. Maybe a Polar Bear or let my patriotism show with a Bald Eagle.

Yet it is funny to see what everyone would be. I laugh just about everytime this topic is updated.

I watched a thing on people that are furries and how they truely cant stand being out of their costume.

I know theres a massive sexual side to it, but there are people that just roll with the role! And some girl was just stayin with her bunny head, i mean she would go bowling with the family and was in normal clothes but whore a huge bunny helmet mask thing.

Im serious, id be smackin someone upside the brainbucket if i went bowling with them and thats what they were sportin

Imo that's kinda weird, I don't think i can say that if my girlfriend whore a bunny suit all the time, She wouldn't be my girlfriend because 1. That thing needed to be washed once in a a while and 2. I don't have that type of Fetish.

My cousin who is a furry told me once that the sexual aspect of furries if highly exaggerated. Yes there is a faction out there but that isn't close to the norm.

Also is someone wanted to be a furry 24/7 I would seriously have to slap them upside the head as well Seth. I mean come on already.

Yea i never delved too deep into it but it seemed anytime furries were mentioned it was sexual, but either way....i just aint down with the furry biznaz ;D

Not sure if you ever watch CSI the Las Vegas one but they did an episode with furries and it was sexual oriented. I always think of that episode when I think of furries. It makes me laugh and cringe all at the same time.
