I just want to take a brief moment to explain the goal of this site and my take on forums. I have been using forums since the early BBS days of computers and its a part of life for me, my own personal gaming newspaper that I must read daily! So I take to heart a good message board.
I was a long time user of IGN and VN boards, which I still frequent from time to time. I was known as Setharion for many years on both boards originating from my enjoyment of MMOs, that was simply the MMO name I was known by and it carried over to the forums.
The goal of this site is to have mature but enjoyable and light hearted discussions revolving anything and everything gaming, with a sprinkle of other media avenues. This wont be a place to spam it up, wont be a place to simply argue for the sake of arguing or mock users for their opinions, it will be a place to have steady and exciting discussions with fellow gamers in a very positive atmosphere. This does not mean that you can not bring your A-game debates to the table, infact I encourage exciting debates. But please, I ask a few simple things...KEEP THINGS CIVIL and without insults or even subtle insults, no drama, no mockery of users, no going out of your way to rile someone up...I ask this as sincerely as possible.
Everything else will be gravy, so enjoy the site and I look forward to tweaking it more and more as time goes by.
