The World Ends With You, I never quite "got" it...

I own it, but i just never seen the light. What way and how do you approach this game? I see so many positive reviews for it but i just never quite got it. But im always trying to find a way to unleash the enjoyment of a game even if it doesnt grab me.

So what exactly makes this game so special?

I'm pretty uncoordinated at the two screen gameplay, but I found the game quite fun nonetheless. I think it's special simply because it is so different. With the different pieces of clothing (excuse me if I get shit wrong as it has been a long time) becoming stronger/weaker in different areas and you are also able to influence this by winning battles.

I'm not much into J-Pop though, so the supposedly great music grated on my nerves most of the time. I also remember being pretty annoyed at the characterization most of the time.

Overall I was left with a really positive impression of the game, maybe it didn't blow my mind, but it was something different indeed.

Ill have to try it again and give it another shake, i feel theres a game in there since so many like it....i just didnt find it on my first attempt. But ill give it another go soon here.
