I use to have Contact, but I just couldn't get into it at the time. It was quirky for sure!
Maybe I should give it another shot. I'd have to buy it again, since I traded my copy a few years ago.

Same here. I think I traded it in towards a game I wanted more at the time. I still have a huge backlog, myself, though. I also need to finish the second Professor Layton so I can start on the third one. But first I'm trying to finish Okamiden.

I traded my copy in when I went on a purge to offset the cost of my PS3. It was when I didn't have a lot of money.

I need to get around to finishing DQ IV, then play V and VI. I've started Chrono Trigger, but I got sidetracked when my 3DS came in, then I started back with PC gaming due to some good Steam sales. Never finished Pokemon HeartGold, either. Too many games for my backlog!

I'm still trucking through Pokémon White. This game is pretty epic as-is, but throw in the fact that I'm super-busy lately, and my slow pace through the game is even slower.
On another note, I picked up Trackmania Turbo, which just came out. It's pretty fun stuff!

I think Pokemon depends on what you want out of it, though. If you're just playing to beat the gym leaders and stuff, it's not terribly long. If you get into breeding and trying to fill up the Pokedex, that's where most of the time consuming stuff is. And then if you intend to play tournament level, that's even more time-consuming because of breeding/training Pokemon for max EVs and IVs.
I fall in the middle there. I don't care about having tournament Pokemon, but I am trying to fill my Pokedex in Black.

As I was browsing through the game section at Best Buy, I noticed that WarioWare: D.I.Y. was on sale for like, $16. Even though I originally had no intention to buy it (ever) I ended up nabbing it on impulse.
Anyone else play that game? Did you like it?

never played a WarioWare game... i don't even know what they're about lemme know how it pans out Grant! And Seth, i can only agree with the above Poster about Pokemon, this is my first one and it really does seem like a standard length JRPG so far as i am just trying to complete the storyline... you CAN try to fill the Pokedex but it will take much longer.

never played a WarioWare game... i don't even know what they're about lemme know how it pans out Grant! WarioWare is just a series of "micro" games, given to the player to complete in rapid succession. And when I say micro games, I mean it. They're not even mini-games. Each "game" take about three to five seconds to complete. It's simple stuff like, catch a ball, or shoot a plane, or something like that. And then, boom, on to the next one. The goal is to complete as many micro games as you can before failing three times. It's kind of addictive, and harkens back to the old days of twitch, fast-action/reaction reflexes of the arcade games of yesteryear. I have Pokemon Diamond...is this one worth playing through or is there a better one? The best ones out now are Pokémon Black/White. And truth be told, the story isn't the main draw of the series. It's all about collecting your army of monsters, training and raising them to be the best fighters, and of course, trying to "catch 'em all." Having said that, the story presented in Black/White isn't terrible, and moves at a quick, Chrono Trigger-esque pace. I highly recommend it.
