Im working on it and honestly the DS needs more and more games like this, just great surreal feeling, atmospheric games...im loving it.
Who else has it and or has to play it?

The hubby bought it WITH the exclusive watch bonus! Now there is a collectible!
He absolutely loved it, and it's got me itching to play it now too! I plan on starting it here soon.

I absolutely adored this game. It was... I don't know. Definitely atmospheric. Kind of creepy, yet wildly exciting and expertly paced and written. I can't say enough good things about it - but I can say for certain it was one of the best game experiences I've had this generation. Fantastic, fantastic title.
Anyone that owns a DS and enjoys a good, engrossing, older-audience oriented game, get on this. You won't regret it!

It's not actually hard to find online. GameStop and Walmart's websites both sell it. I got mine on GameStop's site and it was on sale, $10 off normal price. If you're lucky, that sale might still be going on.

I'm further in, What a must own DS game! THAT good then? i heard some bad things also like how it screws you up and ends the game right there if you make a bad choice or something...there any truth to that?

After I found out this was a digital novel and not really a "game", I lost interest.

It's not really a digital novel - it's got puzzles and that "point-and-click" stuff you see in the old-school adventure games. Make no mistake, there's a lot of required reading to be done (it's very story-heavy) but don't be fooled into thinking there's no actual *game* there. Because there certainly is.
Beyond the puzzles, your path through the game is dependent on other choices you make during the game - who you talk to, if you happen to pick stuff up in the environment, and what you DO with the stuff you find, all gets taken into account for the final outcome.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Anyone that skips this game is missing out on an incredible experience.

Story over gameplay really puts me off though. I may be missing out on it but that's the kind of experiences I can do without.

Yea its just a different breed of game really. I enjoyed games with no gameplay, simply text back in the day so...this is like an epic movie in comparison alot of reading though, but im enjoying it alot. The atmosphere is second to none.

^ Yeah, totally agree Seth. The atmosphere is just... engrossing. I remember being significantly creeped out at times when I was playing it, and that's saying a lot. For multiple reasons.
1.) I don't typically get scared or unnerved by video games.
2.) The type of game this is doesn't lend itself very well to getting spooked - it's not like a monster or some other enemy is gonna sneak up on me out of the shadows and catch me unaware, and just obliterate me. It's a point-and-click adventure. The life of the main character can't be snuffed out because I didn't press the right button at the right time, or anything like that. There's no "real" danger, and the uneasy feelings came straight out of the atmosphere, and nothing else.
This game definitely delivered one of the absolute best experiences of the generation for me. Absolutely fantastic, engrossing and fairly unique. Hopefully this game gets ported to other systems eventually. The more people that get to play this, the better.
